Privacy Policy
Version 2026-08-20 · effective 20 August 2026
This policy explains what 0doubts collects, why, and who else ever sees it. The short version: we do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We do use a small number of service providers to run the product, and we do use AI models to process your content when you ask for an AI feature. Both are explained below.
1. What we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, password hash, workspace name, and the identifiers returned by Google if you sign in with it.
- Content you enter — the people you track and everything you attach to them: contact details, notes, files, photos, tags, relationships and imported records.
- Billing data — plan, subscription status and the customer identifier held by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device details, and audit and error logs generated as you use the Service.
2. Why we use it
To provide the Service and keep your account secure; to process payments; to answer support requests; to detect and prevent abuse; to meet legal obligations; and to fix and improve the product. Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running and securing the Service, or your consent — including your consent to these documents when you signed up.
3. AI processing
When you use an AI feature — a summary, gift ideas, conversation starters — we send the parts of your content that the feature needs to our AI provider so the model can generate a response. This happens only when the feature is used, on the data that feature needs.
Our AI provider processes that content on our instructions to return a result to you. Under our agreement with them, your content is not used to train their models and is retained only briefly for abuse monitoring before deletion. AI output is generated text: it can be wrong, and it is not a statement of fact about any real person.
If you would rather no content of yours is ever sent to an AI model, do not use the AI features — the rest of the Service works without them.
4. Who else sees your data
We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent or trade it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or advertising. We share it only with the providers we need to run the Service, each acting on our instructions and bound by contract:
- cloud hosting, storage and database providers, who store the Service and its data;
- our AI provider, as described above;
- our payment provider, which handles subscriptions and card details;
- our email provider, which delivers transactional email such as verifications and receipts;
- spam and abuse prevention services used on our sign-up and sign-in pages.
We may also disclose data when the law compels it (a valid court order or similar), to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a successor if our business is acquired — in which case this policy continues to apply to the data transferred.
Within your own workspace, people you have invited can see the workspace's data according to their role. Adding somebody to your workspace is your decision, not ours.
5. Data about other people
Most of what you store is information about other people. You are the one deciding what to record about them and why; we hold and process it on your behalf. Please record only what you have a lawful basis to hold, keep it accurate, and delete it when you no longer need it. If someone asks us to remove information you hold about them, we will normally pass the request on to you.
6. Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored only as hashes, files live in access-controlled storage, and every workspace's data is isolated from every other workspace. We keep your content for as long as your account is open. When you delete something it is removed from your workspace immediately and purged from our systems and backups in the normal course of our retention cycle. Some records — billing history, security and audit logs — are kept longer where the law requires it. No system is perfectly secure; see the Terms and Conditions for how responsibility for your data is allocated.
7. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the Service to work: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and cookies set by our abuse-prevention provider. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Where data is processed
We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where such a transfer is subject to data protection law, we rely on the standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. You can edit and export most of your data from within the app; for anything else email support@0doubts.com and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we make a material change we will publish the updated version here with a new version date and ask you to accept it the next time you sign in.
